THE PROBLEM
I noticed that if you have a very bright backglass image and a dark playfield, it’ll be hard to see the playfield because of the glare. The Chucky’s Killer Pinball table is a prime example of that. Adjusting the brightness does not reduce the reflection.

THE SOLUTION
Install a polarized screen designed for portrait-oriented monitors on the backglass to eliminate glare.
WHAT
TOOLS
Phillips screwdriver
Hobby knife
Microfiber towel or lint-free cloth the width of the plexiglass.
Because this is a portrait privacy screen, when you hold the screen in landscape, the screen goes dark when viewing from the top or bottom of the screen.
REMOVE THE PLEXIGLASS
Lay down your lint-free cloth on top of the playfield glass. This is to prevent any scratching to the backbox plexiglass.
Remove the speaker grills. Each is secured with 4 screws.
Remove the 2 screws on the upper half of the plexiglass.
From the bottom, gently pull and tug to loosen the tape holding the plexiglass in. Think scotch tape, but double-sided. Take your time and do not flex the plexiglass so much as to break it.
INSTALL THE SCREEN
Open the screen and find the small package of tape.
Install the tape around the edge of the plexiglass monitor opening. I used 6 pieces.
Use a hobby knife to remove the sticker tape.
Align the privacy screen on top of the plexiglass with the shiny side facing the front of the screen.
Reassemble the plexiglass onto the backbox. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE SCREWS or you may break your plexiglass. Once you feel resistance you can stop.

CONCLUSION
This is a worthwhile mod to the 4KP. If you have bad eyes like me, any kind of optical improvement is a blessing.
